Offshore liferaft description
Viking offshore liferaft is our top model, the RescYou™ Pro UKSL liferaft, has self-righting properties ensuring when time matters most, the liferaft is always ready for boarding within seconds with no need to waste precious minutes or experience loss of body heat while attempting to right a life raft.
It features generous space and headroom as well as all the details required by the serious sailor. The automatic self-righting function ensures that the liferaft is immediately ready for boarding. The ultimate liferaft for all types of sailing, where comfort and safety go hand in hand.
The curtained windows give an excellent view of the horizon without the need to open the canopy. The inflatable double floor works as a good insulation from the cold ocean. Features that reduce the risk of hypothermia. Large ballast bags keep the liferaft stable in the water, helping to prevent capsize in very heavy seas.
VIKING RescYou™ Pro liferaft is both ISO9650-1 Group A certified, ISAF approved, and third party verified by DNV.

- The VIKING RescYou™ liferafts for yachting provide double security for passengers as they are equipped with two individual buoyancy chambers, each having sufficient buoyancy to carry the weight of the number of persons which the liferaft is designed to accommodate.

Viking liferafts are available in either a valise or a canister. When possible, a canister is recommended to offer the best protection against wear and tear and the elements. A canister can be left on deck or mounted in the stern of a sailing yacht. A liferaft in a valise should be protected from the elements and care should be taken to keep it clear from sharp objects. It will need to be stowed in a location that permits it to be brought on deck quickly and easily.

Warranty statement for VIKING Yachting RescYouTM liferafts
VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S warrants its Yachting RescYouTM Liferafts to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for 12 (twelve) years from date of purchase, provided that the warranted item is properly used and maintained in accordance with the user instructions.
This warranty does not cover damage due to normal usage in connection with inflation, tear or deterioration, or any alteration or maintenance carried out by personnel not approved by VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S. Neither does it cover damage due to exposure to heat, ultraviolet light, chemicals or oil products, nor defects which are caused by faulty maintenance, improper use or storage. VIKING is not liable for the defects arising out of materials provided by, or design stipulated by or specified by the Customer.
Customers must notify VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S as soon as possible after the defect is discovered at the address given below of any warranty claim based upon alleged defects in workmanship and materials. The notice shall contain a description of the defect together with a proof of purchase in the form of a dated receipt or invoice.
VIKING is entitled to give instructions concerning the shipping and/or VIKING’s inspection of the liferaft and will, at its sole discretion, determine the nature of the alleged defect(s) and take appropriate action as provided for in this warranty. If required by VIKING, the customer shall transport the liferaft to a VIKING authorized servicing station and the customer shall be responsible for any transportation costs.
VIKING shall remedy (at its sole discretion) the defect(s), or if not possible replace the defective item, without undue delay and on its own costs. Defective items which have been replaced shall be made available to VIKING and shall be its property. Where the defect(s) has/have not been successfully remedied, or there is no possibility for a change for an appropriate new item, the Customer is entitled to a reduction of the purchase price in proportion to the reduced values of the Product.
VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S warrants that the fabric of the RescYouTM Liferafts have a life span of 12 years from date of production, provided that the liferaft has been properly used and maintained in accordance with the user instructions and serviced at a VIKING authorized service station according to service instructions and with intervals provided by VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S.
