Recovering a man overboard can be an extremely hazardous operation for both the crew and the casualty, regardless of vessel size. The Jon Buoy MOB range is designed to aid in this operation, by increasing vital visibility and drawing attention to the MOB and will also offer protection to the casualty leading to reduced casualty time before recovery, for a more positive rescue outcome.
The Jon Buoy range also incorporates innovative retro-reflective Glo Lite technology.
Glo Lite significantly enhances the visibility of the hi-vis fabric, making it highly reflective and increases perception during dark conditions, thus aiding location.
The Jon Buoy Recovery Module is accepted as a direct replacement for the traditional Danbuoy horseshoe, drogue, light, and whistle, specified within the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations.

Your warranty won’t cover: The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear (including by way of example damaged containers, or damage from deployment), where there is evidence of product abuse or misuse, if the product has been used commercially or for business purposes, where damage has been caused by an act of god or a third party and if the product has not been used or maintained at an approved service station in accordance with and at the intervals described on the instructions we have provided you with. We don’t cover the replacement of time expired items (for example Lights, and gas cylinders which can reasonably be expected to be replaced during the lifespan of the product.). The service interval for JonBuoy products is a minimum of 1 year.
